CHWC Building Homes and Empowering families

February 14, 2018

Create more neighborhoods where families are happy to live, work and play! Community Housing of Wyandotte County (CHWC) has been transforming vacant lots and blighted properties into thriving neighborhoods where families are happy to live, work and play.

Now, we need your help to do even more to stabilize, revitalize and reinvest in our Kansas City, Kansas neighborhoods.

You may not know that CHWC is a member of the national NeighborWorks America network. We are actually larger and stronger than most local organizations because of our network membership. NeighborWorks America is a congressionally chartered nonprofit dedicated to creating places of opportunity across the country.

CHWC is one of nearly 250 members of NeighborWorks network, receiving technical assistance; flexible grants; comprehensive, tailored training; and the opportunity to interact with and learn from fellow professionals from a variety of sectors.

Over the past 40 years, NWA and its network have assisted close to 8 million people through affordable housing and counseling.

Visit http://www.neighborworks.org/ to learn more about this amazing organization and their commitment to community. CHWC is proud to be a member of the NWA network. Thanks for your support, NWA!
